About
I grew up in Moses Lake, Washington. Growing up I enjoyed volleyball, softball, water skiing, horses and 4-H. During my 4-H years I raised lambs and steers. I discovered that I liked keeping my 4-H record book and especially enjoyed the friends I made at fair. In high school my favorite class was my bookkeeping class. So naturally I became an accountant that lives in an agricultural community and works with farmers and small businesses.
I attended Big Bend Community College, then moved to Pullman to attend Washington State University where I got my bachelor and master degree in accounting.
After college I moved to Othello in 2002 to begin my career at LeMaster Daniels LLP, which later became CliftonLarsonAllen PLLC. I became a certified public accountant in 2006. I worked at CliftonLarsonAllen until 2015. My career has been centered on working with farmers, small business owners and individuals. I have done income tax returns, tax planning, compilation and reviewed financial statements, payroll, bookkeeping, QuickBooks consulting and periodic bookkeeping checkups throughout my career. I especially enjoy working with business owners that have multiple entities and need help keeping their books and records for each entity separate and accurate despite their seamless integration with one another, which is where the periodic bookkeeping checkups become enormously helpful.
